All the accessories you see on this website are handmade by Mia. Her works are usually a little
whimsical, a little quirky, a little pop, a little vintage, sometimes dainty, sometimes dramatic, and totally
Singaporean. Her training in the theatre taught her not to be contented with remaining in the same spot
and so you could see that she would constantly experiment with different materials and styles.
Ocha Cream is based in Singapore and we do ship worldwide. We are born on 26th Apr 2007.
Ocha Cream is a registered business with the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority of
Singapore.
Mia
One would agree that Mia's love for creating things with her hands is evident even when she was little if
one could have seen how she would make stuffed toys for herself using her grandma's old-fashioned
sewing machine at the age of 8. As a young teen she would make tiny clay dolls and weave 2cm-long
dragonflies for her friends. Even after she took up acting as a career, she would insist on making her own
props by sewing a puppet for one of her solo theatre projects. Now Mia finally puts her obsession into
something more productive by making and selling accessories on this website. Nelson says Mia is always
changing and he can never guess her taste. Mia thinks if one keeps wearing/ eating/ watching/ reading the
same things then one's just plain boring and hence she would be delighted if you find her designs
unpredictable.
Nelson
Multi-talented Nelson wants to design and sell T-shirts on this website besides doing all his other work
but he has yet to find time to do so. Mia can only remind him gently every night before sleep and hope
for that fateful day to come soon.
